iNFRA Executive Appointed to Digital Technology and AI

Mr. Pawarot Chaiyaphet, Deputy Managing Director (Administration) of iNFRA Group, has been appointed by the Engineering Institute of Thailand under His Majesty the King’s Patronage (EIT) as a Subcommittee Member for Digital and Intelligent Technologies for Computational Analytics in Civil Engineering (DIT-CACE) for the year 2026.

The appointment is made in accordance with the objectives, duties, and regulations of the Engineering Institute of Thailand. In this regard, the Civil Engineering Subcommittees of EIT have been established and elevated to a total of 11 subcommittees to drive the advancement of the civil engineering profession in alignment with the evolving context of digital technology, artificial intelligence, environmental considerations, and sustainability.

The 11 civil engineering subcommittees are as follows:

1. Structural and Bridge Engineering (SBE)
2. Traffic and Transportation Safety Engineering (TTSE)
3. Smart Sensing and Structural Health Monitoring (SHM)
4. Natural Hazard Engineering and Structural Impact Mitigation (NH-SIM)
5. Concrete Materials Engineering, Repair and Maintenance for Sustainability (CMRMS)
6. Surveying and Geospatial Engineering (SGE)
7. Construction Engineering Management and Work Safety (CEMWS)
8. Steel and Composite Structural Engineering (SCSE)
9. Smart Water Resources Engineering and Management (SWREM)
10. Digital and Intelligent Technologies for Computational Analytics in Civil Engineering (DIT-CACE)
11. Soil Engineering (SE)

The appointed subcommittees will serve a three-year term, during which a series of academic activities, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and professional engagement with the engineering community will be continuously organized to enhance the capabilities of Thai civil engineers over the next three years.

The participation of iNFRA’s executive in this subcommittee reflects the organization’s strong commitment to supporting digital transformation and the application of intelligent technologies, with the aim of strengthening professional standards and ensuring the long-term sustainability of Thailand’s civil engineering profession.
