NFRA Welcomes Srinakharinwirot University Lecturer for Internship Supervision in Geoinformatics

Infra Plus Co., Ltd. (iNFRA) welcomed Dr. Pakorn Meksangsouy, Associate Dean for Planning and Strategy at Srinakharinwirot University, during a visit to follow up on the internship progress of Mr. Naphaphon Somwang, a student in the Department of Geography and Geoinformatics, Faculty of Social Sciences, Srinakharinwirot University.

The visit was hosted by Mr. Sittinun Thongbai (Deputy Managing Director of Research and Development), who joined the discussion on developing internship students’ capabilities. Also participating were Mr. Theerayut Yonseng (Acting Assistant Deputy Manager of Survey and Technology) and Mr. Phonlathep Apichairojkul, Geographic Information and Survey Officer, who serve as the student’s mentors. They provide knowledge, guidance, and opportunities for learning through practical work experience.

Throughout the internship, the student has had opportunities to learn about and participate in surveying and technology activities related to infrastructure. These experiences include using surveying instruments and equipment, as well as learning about various fieldwork processes.

This hands-on experience helps the student apply knowledge of geography and geoinformatics alongside modern surveying technologies, while gaining a better understanding of professional workflows and how academic knowledge can be applied in a future career.
