Shima – Circular Track Meter (CTM)

The Circular Track Meter (CTM) measures road surface roughness using a CCD laser displacement sensor. There are various methods to measure road surface roughness, but the CTM provides results as MPD (Mean Profile Depth). It can be used in conjunction with the Dynamic Friction Tester (DF) to calculate the IFI (International Friction Index)
