Company Delivers Zoom Lecture to Support PLO Development for Geoinformatics Program at Songkhla Rajabhat University

The Company was honored by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Songkhla Rajabhat University, to invite Mr. Sitthinan Thongbai, Deputy Managing Director (Academic Affairs) to serve as a guest speaker in an online seminar (Zoom).

The lecture was delivered under the topic:
“Graduate Employer Needs in the Public Sector and State-Owned Enterprises.”

This session was part of a stakeholder needs assessment project aimed at defining the Program Learning Outcomes (PLO) for the Bachelor of Science Program in Geoinformatics (Revised Curriculum B.E. 2571 / 2028).

Program Learning Outcome (PLO) refers to the framework that defines the expected learning outcomes of students upon graduation, reflecting the knowledge, skills, and competencies aligned with labor market demands.

For the field of Geoinformatics, effective PLO development helps ensure that:

  • Graduates possess skills aligned with real industry applications
  • The curriculum meets the needs of public sector organizations and state enterprises
  • Teaching and learning objectives are clearly defined and measurable

During the Zoom session, Mr. Sitthinan Thongbai shared practical experience and professional insights, focusing on the needs of graduate employers in the public sector and state-owned enterprises.

The lecture covered both:

  • Technical Skills
  • Practical Skills

These insights contribute significantly to shaping PLOs that:

  • Align with employer expectations
  • Reflect trends in geoinformatics technology
  • Effectively bridge academic learning with real-world applications

The Company’s participation in this lecture reflects its role in supporting curriculum development by connecting industry knowledge with academic frameworks, contributing to more relevant and responsive educational programs.
