Infra Plus Co., Ltd. has partnered with the Department of Computer Engineering at Chulalongkorn University to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the Bachelor of Engineering program in Computer Engineering, under the Higher Education Sandbox initiative.

On October 9, 2023, Infra Plus Co., Ltd. signed an MOU with the Department of Computer Engineering in the Suan Ruam Jai 1 meeting room, Building 3, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University. Representing Infra Plus Co., Ltd. were Mr. Pawarot Chaiyaphet, Executive Director, and Mr. Nantawat Luesinghanat, Engineering Affairs Manager. Representing the Department of Computer Engineering at Chulalongkorn University were Professor Dr. Supoj Techavornsin, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor Dr. Anongnat Somwangthanaroj, Associate Dean for Research, and Assistant Professor Dr. Atthawit Sudsang, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering.

This signing marks an important starting point in strengthening the collaboration between the two parties to implement the Bachelor of Engineering program in Computer Engineering. This initiative aligns with the Thailand 4.0 development plan, which emphasizes development for security and sustainability. It recognizes that computer engineering and digital technology are essential foundations for technological advancement in the country, especially in the Industry 4.0 era. This era demands a workforce with diverse knowledge and the ability to integrate different fields to enhance competitiveness and adapt to new technologies in enterprises.

The MOU aims to develop the workforce in the industry, particularly addressing the shortage of skilled personnel in the computer engineering and digital technology sectors. It promotes deep collaboration in developing scientific and technological workforce capabilities between businesses and educational institutions.
