iNFRA and the Thai Red Cross Society Hold a Lessons-Learned Workshop on the “Phonphai” Application to Enhance Disaster Relief Operations Nationwide

iNFRA, in collaboration with the Thai Red Cross Society, organized a lessons-learned workshop aimed at improving the effectiveness of the “Phonphai” application for provincial Red Cross chapters across Thailand. The event provided a platform for participants to review real-world experiences, exchange challenges and operational insights, and discuss recommendations for further system enhancements. It also strengthened users’ understanding of the application to support more effective field operations.

The workshop focused on enhancing the efficiency of disaster information management and relief operations, ensuring that assistance can be delivered more rapidly, accurately, and consistently nationwide. The third session of the program was conducted in Phitsanulok Province for provincial Red Cross chapters from Regions 8, 9, and 10.

Through the collaboration of information system specialists and relevant stakeholders, the workshop marked another important step in the continuous development of the Phonphai application. The initiative aims to further strengthen the platform’s capability to support disaster management operations while contributing to the humanitarian mission and emergency relief efforts of the Thai Red Cross Society throughout the country.
